ATC - Flowers

Flowers

Last month 'flowers' was pulled out of the bucket at our stamp group.
I used a Stampabilities background stamp with black ink,
Studio G for the letters, inked the edges with green,
randomly traced the leaves with a startdust pen <3 ,
punched a label and cut it in half, punched the bottom edge
and added paper flowers.

They didn't come out like I wanted them to, I was wanting something with more of a "pop". Most of my ATC's lack color. I like black and creams and sparkle and usually stay in that whole area of my comfort zone. : ) But I have been on a blue and green kick lately, so I decided to do the flowers in blue. I could've done better, I just didn't take the time to. Usually, I'll plan first and make a few different ones and then choose one from those.

Next month is coffee or tea..hmmm

No way! I used to live in Port Sulphur when I was little too. From 1980 to 1992. Did you go to Port Sulphur schools?

P.S. Love your ATC's! I've only ever made one set of those and I did it for a class I taught at Scrappersaurus in Mandeville. The coffee/tea theme sounds really cool. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Thanks for commenting Heather :) I'm kinda worried about the coffee/tea theme. I don't have a stamp for either, so I guess it's either cricut or clip art.

I lived in Port Sulphur from birth to 7..so..77-84. My parents split and my mom and I moved to Terrytown. I went to O.L.P.H. til then. My dad stayed down there til Katrina.
